Montreal East is an on-island suburb in the Southwestern part of Quebec on the island of Montreal. It is comprised of three main districts; Rivière des Prairies, Pointe aux Trembles and La Pointe aux Prairies. These three districts are composed of various suburbs and fields and surrounds the entire eastern tip of the island of Montreal. To the north is Rivière des Prairies and to the south is the Saint Lawrence river. To the east you will find Montreal North and to the Southeast it encompasses Anjou and Montreal East.
On the one hand you can discover beautiful houses and condos that overlook the river with easy access to large parks such as the well-known Parc Nature de la Pointe aux Prairies and the Parc nature du Ruisseaux de Montigny. These two parks have unique walking and hiking trails as well as paths for cross country skiing in the colder seasons. On the other hand, there are industrial buildings and shopping centres making this area a perfect combination of city life and suburbia which attracts many home buyers.
